The Tennessee Volunteers are returning to Omaha for the third time in four seasons. The No. 1 squad in the country—and the No. 1 overall national seed—defeated Evansville on Sunday night after losing game two on Saturday.

The Evansville hitters couldn’t keep up on Sunday, as Tennessee hammered homerun after homerun en route to a 12-1 win. Zander Sechrist was strong on the mound, pitching 6.1 innings and allowing only one earned run.

Tennessee will now compete in the College World Series, starting on Friday night against Florida State. The Seminoles are the No. 8 national seed, with a 47-15 record this season. Florida State defeated UConn in the Super Regionals to progress.
