BREAKING NEWS: AC Milan in advance stage of acquiring a loan deal with option to buy for 23- years old Arsenal star

AC Milan are interested in signing Jakub Kiwior in January and are reportedly looking for a loan with a buy option.
AC Milan are aiming to bolster their defense in the January transfer window, according to Luca Bianchin of Italian source Gazzetta (via GIFN), and Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior is one player of interest.

Milan apparently kept an eye on Kiwior during his tenure in Serie A, and the club now wants to recruit him on an initial loan, possibly with an option to buy.

According to the report, Arsenal will decide whether to loan Kiwior in the next weeks. There are no assurances because he isn’t the only player on Milan’s shortlist.

This isn’t the first time Kiwior has been linked to a transfer.

Earlier this week, the centre-back was linked with a loan transfer to Sevilla, with sources stating the Spanish club attempted to sign him.

However, Mikel Arteta refused to accept the transfer, therefore Kiwior remained in north London for the start of the 2023/24 season.

Arsenal was thus drawn in the Champions League group stage against Sevilla.

Kiwior has made six appearances for Arsenal this season, including four starts and two late substitution outings.

In those cameos, the Poland international has generally impressed for his club, and he’s also a regular for his country, playing the full 90 minutes in every Poland international in 2023 – eight matches.

Kiwior appears unlikely to leave Arsenal permanently barely a year after signing him.

A loan for the 23-year-old does not appear to be inconceivable, depending on how things evolve in the next months, but it would almost certainly require a defensive reinforcement first.
