DONE DEAL: Milan secure left-back for summer but will make €3m offer in January

AC Milan have agreed a preliminary agreement with Real Betis left-back Juan Miranda, whose contract with the club expires in the summer. However, according to various sources, he could arrive as early as January.

The Rossoneri are nearing a contract agreement with Miranda, according to reports earlier this evening. The latter is at the top of Milan’s wish list for the deputy left-back position and has been for quite some time.

Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada want to make an offer of €3 million plus bonuses in January, according to Daniele Longo this evening. They are hopeful that Real Betis would accept the offer, despite the fact that Miranda has already decided to join Milan in the summer.

The 23-year-old would be an excellent addition to the club, and acquiring him in January would be a significant boost, given that Theo Hernandez has shown tired of late. But for the time being, the Frenchman will have to hold the fort.
