Marlon Pack, the club captain, has been ruled out for four to six weeks. Following a challenge from Charlie Wyke in last week’s 2-1 win against Wigan Athletic, he got a scan, and the results revealed ankle ligament damage.

He’ll be out until mid-November and might miss up to six games, including a match against Oxford United, who are now second in the table.

Aside from injuries, two players will miss the game due to suspension after receiving a series of cards that result in a one-game suspension.
