The Indiana Pacers may have had a fantastic playoff season, even reaching the NBA Finals, but their prospects for the following season are gloomy. With Tyrese Haliburton out for the season and Myles Turner joining the Milwaukee Bucks, the Pacers have a considerably depleted squad.

The San Antonio Spurs have made some excellent additions to their roster throughout the offseason. The Spurs have added youthful talent to their already excellent squad with youngsters Dylan Harper and Carter Bryant.
The Spurs are an amazing squad. With a quality backcourt in place, San Antonio simply has to give frontcourt support for Victor Wembanyama, which Pascal Siakam could do.
Siakam is coming off a fantastic playoff performance, which included winning the ECF MVP title. The forward’s two-way talent has been evident throughout his career, even helping him play a major role in the Toronto Raptors’ championship run.
If this trade goes through, Siakam will replace Harrison Barnes in the starting lineup. Siakam’s averages of 20.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 3.4 assists surpass Barnes’. San Antonio would find a lot of value in obtaining another star to complete their “Big Three” while also noting that the forward was named All-Star last season.
Siakam’s durability, championship experience, and senior leadership would all be important intangibles that would boost his worth. With the Spurs on the edge of becoming a playoff team in the West, the signing of the forward might help them advance to title contention.
