With 1.1 seconds remaining in regulation and the Pacers trailing by one, Haliburton hit a step-back three from deep to defeat Cleveland 120-119 and give Indiana a 2-0 series lead heading home. The play itself was impressive enough, but what happened next made it unforgettable.
As he strolled back down the court, Haliburton performed Sam Cassell’s memorable “Big Balls” celebration, which results in a punishment from the league but a standing ovation from teammates and fans alike.
It was the climax of a night in which Indiana demonstrated guts, poise, and just enough swagger to turn the Eastern Conference Semifinals on its head.

Aaron Nesmith and Myles Turner each scored 23 points, and six Pacers ended in double figures.

Haliburton’s heroics put Indiana on a high, but Cleveland isn’t going quietly. With the series heading to Indianapolis for Game 3, the Cavaliers will be desperate to rebound and avoid falling behind 3-0. Indiana, meanwhile, benefits from Haliburton’s elegance and confidence, which is gradually becoming the emotional motor of this young Pacers squad.
