Ife Adeyi, a rookie wide receiver, was signed by the Eagles on Tuesday. After taking part in Rookie Camp, Adeyi signed a contract with the Eagles in June, however he was soon let go. The Eagles cut wide receiver Danny Gray with an injured designation to create space on the 90-man roster for Adeyi.
Adeyi, a Sam Houston State graduate, was not selected in the 2025 draft. During his time in college, he added 306 rushing yards and four rushing scores to his 164 receptions, 2,312 receiving yards, and 19 receiving touchdowns.
In 2021, the 5-foot-10 wide receiver recorded career-highs in receiving yards (742), touchdowns (10), and receptions (54). Adeyi scored the game-winning touchdown with less than 20 seconds left in the FCS National Championship Game the year before.
