David Jones-Garcia will now settle down with the San Antonio Spurs after impressing many NBA fans with his play in the Summer League.

Jones-Garcia has agreed to a two-way contract with the Spurs, according to Shams Charania’s report on Wednesday.

Jones-Garcia was a member of the Mexico City Capitanes, a G League team, during the previous season.

However, it was his work in the Summer League that truly made an impression, which is why he is leaving with a two-way contract.

Jones-Garcia reportedly turned down a deal offer from Greek EuroLeague team Olympiakos in favor of establishing himself in the NBA.

Even though he undoubtedly hoped for a longer-term contract with a team, this two-way deal gives him leverage and may open doors for him to have a successful future in the league.

He can now be shipped to the Spurs’ G League affiliate or used in regular-season games.

Jones-Garcia is glad to assist the Spurs and earn his spot on the team’s roster.

Spurs supporters may see a lot of Jones-Garcia if he keeps playing the way he did in the Summer League.

If he doesn’t, he might be demoted to the G League and may not play much in 2025–2026.
