In his 17 games with the Spurs, Fox shot 44.6% from the field and averaged 19.7 points per game and 6.8 assists per game before being sidelined for the rest of the season due to surgery on his left pinky finger. However, the Spurs probably wouldn’t have received the second choice if he hadn’t been seated.

Talks about extensions might continue into the season. Fox’s request to be traded from the Sacramento Kings indicates that he wants to be in San Antonio, but they must first demonstrate their viability.
