Passan mentioned the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets as two of the “best fits” for the righty in a big-money trade while discussing possible suitors. “All the potential the Marlins have seen in the 27-year-old right-hander is finally coming into focus this season,” Passan stated. “Cabrera’s curveball and slider do the majority of the work, but his 97 mph fastball draws hitters’ attention. And because of the whole arsenal and three more years of club control, Cabrera will be expensive with a changeup that has historically been his finest weapon.
