Jayden Daniels, the quarterback for the Washington Commanders, had an incredible debut season, leading the team to a 12-5 record, two playoff victories, and a trip to the NFC Championship game.
But as we previously stated, in spite of everything Jayden accomplished, there was one significant problem that persisted throughout 2024: he was frequently fired.
Daniels was the sixth most sacked quarterback in football with 47 sacks during the regular season, which is a formula for trouble given his thin frame.

Daniels is a destructive runner, but because of his small frame, linebackers and safeties are tackling to put Daniels through the turf as they are chasing you down the field.
Since a quarterback can’t survive in the league with 47 sacks, it is hoped that Daniels will be better protected this season with Laremy Tunsil taking over at left tackle.
Washington’s season would probably end with Daniels if he suffered an injury as a result of his ability to be fired on a regular basis.
Therefore, Jayden’s message moving forward is straightforward: avoid taking needless hits.
