According to Belgian reports, Club Brugge’s negotiations with Hamburger SV regarding former FC Groningen player Ludovit Reis are proceeding without a hitch.
Although HSV wants to play the long game, transfer journalist Sacha Tavolieri says that Bruges will provide updates in the next several days.
Ludovit Reis is not expected to leave the German team, which will ultimately make a comeback to the Bundesliga’s top division the following season. The 25-year-old Dutch midfielder is still a favorite among the audience.
Reis is apparently not interested in extending his contract with HSV because he wants to join Club Brugge. These days, the primary topics of discussion are a resale percentage and potential bonuses. Tavolieri anticipates paying about six million euros for the final transfer cost.
Reis has represented HSV in 129 games overall. He recorded 20 goals and 13 assists over that period. The Dutchman formerly played for FC Barcelona and rose through the ranks at FC Groningen. Reis represented Jong Oranje in 17 games.
