The Tennessee football team is expected to bring in a number of high-profile targets for their official visits, so there will be another packed group traveling to Knoxville this weekend. Five-star EDGE Tristian Givens, who visited the university last month informally, is on the list.
Five-star lineman Darius Gray visited the area last weekend, and he had a great experience meeting with Josh Heupel and his coaching staff. Heupel is trying to land his verbal, and Givens is in a similar situation. If his travel meets all the requirements, may the Vols be in for some exciting news this weekend?
Five-star EDGE This weekend, Tristian Givens will travel to Tennessee.
It should go without saying that if he can convince Givens to agree to this, it would be a monstrous get. The 6-3, 215-pound player has a ton of offers and is among the best pass-rushers in the nation for his class. The fact that he’s going back to Tennessee so soon after his last visit is obviously rather striking.
Givens has received almost 30 offers during his recruiting. According to 247Sports, he is rated five stars, the third-best EDGE in the country, and the twenty-third-best prospect overall. He will be at Texas A&M on June 20 after making an official visit to Washington last weekend.
Although travel plans to Florida State and USC have not yet been arranged, he is also very interested in both schools. Additionally, Givens has not specified a timeframe for making his college decision public, but you never know what can occur in the recruiting process.
Heupel is already assembling a formidable class for 2026, and he would be thrilled to have Givens add his name to the list of promises. His final decision will be heavily influenced by how things unfold this weekend. Without a doubt, the red carpet must be rolled out for this child beginning on Friday.
