A’Shawn Robinson, a 2024 free agency, failed not live up to his contract, and the Carolina Panthers had one of the worst defenses in the league the previous season. Robinson was the top defensive lineman on the depth chart after losing Derrick Brown for the season in Week 1, but he was unable to meet the high standards. His 54.6 PFF grade placed him 77th out of 118 eligible defensive tackles, despite his impressive final stats of 80 tackles and 5.5 sacks.
After just one season, Carolina was able to move on from Robinson by adding a number of players in the offseason to strengthen the interior. Robinson is now entering his age-30 season. He won’t yield the highest return,
According to Gary Davenport of Bleacher Report, there might be a market for his skills, and Carolina need to consider any offers.
According to Davenport, “the Panthers ranked dead last against the run last year, which prompted the team to draft Cam Jackson on Day 3 this year and add Bobby Brown and Tershawn Wharton in free agency.”

That jeopardizes Robinson’s starting position, at the absolute least. However, a team in need of a quarterback might be interested in making a deal for the 30-year-old given his nine years of NFL experience and his career year pressuring the passer.
