Castle received 100 out of 100 possible first-team votes in the 2024-25 NBA All-Rookie First Team election.

The Spurs responded to the announcement on social media.

Castle is the Spurs’ second consecutive Rookie of the Year, succeeding 2023 No. 1 choice Victor Wembanyama.

“I feel like our future is really set,” Castle stated in a recent conversation with Wembanyama. “I mean, it’s just turning up. From the small glances we offered this year, before [Wembanyama] and Fox went out, to having that in our back pocket for next year, plus more, speaks volumes about our future.”
