I’d be willing to offer Bam Adebayo for Dylan Harper. Harper is, in my opinion, the draft’s top player. This year, I watched a lot of Rutgers because my girlfriend is from Jersey. Next to Tyler, you need a 6’4 player with a 6’10 wingspan because of his incredible game and natural ability to score.
I wouldn’t do this, to start. It’s just too dangerous. But I’ll make fun of you and your girlfriend from New Jersey since it’s an intriguing possibility. Harper is most likely to be selected by the San Antonio Spurs at number two. Harper fits with Tyler Herro for all the reasons you mentioned, and he also fits with De’Aaron Fox.
Although anything can happen on draft night, it seems the Heat would need to move up for the second overall pick if they really wanted Harper.
The only player who could make the Spurs meet to discuss it would be Bam Adebayo. Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, the 20th pick, or any combination of those would not be traded for the number two pick. The Spurs were lucky to advance in the draft lottery once more, and until they are outbid by an offer, they will not pass up the chance to select a third franchise cornerstone.
Rookies who have never played an NBA possession are typically not traded for franchise players by teams looking to stay competitive.

The Heat aren’t the kind of team that may consider a risky move like dealing their greatest player for a lottery ticket if they were prepared to press the big red button and start a rebuild. It’s possible that the Heat are the league’s most risk-averse club.
The Heat won’t care if Harper ends up becoming a franchise player and a top-10 scorer. This franchise deals in well-known commodities. Even if they witness some of their friends reaping enormous profits, they are not playing around with Bitcoin. Rather, they make consistent investments in the S&P 500 and take pleasure in its 5–10% yearly rise.
Would a superstar like Giannis be traded for Bam? That is a legitimate question, and the Heat would need to take that into account. However, they would rather have a star next to Bam than trade him for one.
