The Miami Dolphins, a team anticipated to succeed, have not had the best of seasons in recent years. Whether it’s due to Tua Tagovailoa’s injury, Mike McDaniel’s failure to call the appropriate plays in specific situations, or anything else, the Dolphins must improve moving ahead.
However, according to a new story, there appears to be far more going on behind the scenes than the Dolphins have revealed. According to Omar Kelly of the Miami Herald, Wes Welker and Sam Madison were fired as McDaniel’s assistant coaches as a result of Jalen Ramsey and Tyreek Hill’s antics.
“According to many reports, Ramsey and Hill’s antics and behavior contributed to the departure of two former Dolphins greats, Wes Welker and Sam Madison, from their positions as McDaniel’s assistant coaches.
“The Dolphins struggled to hold both stars accountable, and I’m told it polluted the locker room because others started following their lead, showing up late for film study sessions and practices,” he said.
Ramsey and Hill, two of the NFL’s best players, have spent a lengthy period in the league.
However, this does not imply players can do whatever they want on and off the field, and McDaniel is ultimately responsible for that.
It’s a little harsh that they both lost their jobs, but the Dolphins have to do what they think is proper.
Welker, in particular, appeared to be popular among players. Despite that, it appears it was a false narrative, as the Dolphins were unable to keep their players under control.
