Why It Makes Sense for Pickett to Go to Detroit
Benjamin claims that the Cleveland Browns, who recently acquired Pickett in an offseason trade, may already be considering a trade for him. Cleveland has an abundance of quarterbacks after re-signing Joe Flacco and selecting Shedeur Sanders and Dillon Gabriel.
Benjamin added, “The Lions could use a more seasoned No. 2 behind Jared Goff, so Picket might be better off bouncing to Detroit in another trade.” “Dan Campbell is interested in his grit.”

A Cheap, High-Floor Relocation?
Even though he has already made 25 starts in his career and performed admirably when called upon in Philadelphia last season, Pickett may not be a future starter. Since the Browns rejected his fifth-year option and he is still only 26, he is probably a short-term asset
